“One night, Mia Dennett enters a bar to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. But when he doesn’t show, she unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger. At first Colin Thatcher seems like a safe one-night stand. But following Colin home will turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia’s life.”
I really enjoyed this book, but couldn’t help but feel like something was missing from the ending!
Truthfully, I had a hunch early on what the twist was and I was right. However, I still enjoyed the book and really liked the style it was written and how it went back and forth between “before” and “after” with each chapter. I just wish the ending of the book had been more explosive! Or maybe just answered more questions. I didn’t find it surprising, and I would classify it as more dramatic then suspenseful or psychological.
Overall, it was a great read and I finished it over the course of 3 nights. I wasn’t as excited to finish it, so I feel like the story could’ve been built up more- but still worth the read!
