So much to see at Cheekwood Gardens! Definitely worth a visit when you’re in Nashville!
One of my favorite thing about Florida beaches is that even as the years progress- they hold true to the same boutique shops, quaint restaurants and iconic ice cream trucks that we grew up with. Everything evolves, but the good always remains.
If this picture doesn’t define summer at the beach in Florida… I don’t know what does.
I recently had the pleasure of checking out the brand new Fresh Made Kitchen in Orlando- and I must say, I can’t wait to go back again!
They have a huge menu with tons of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their omelettes looked amazing and super tempting.
Since I went for a late lunch, I decided to pick a couple starter options and then entrees. I tried the seared ahi tuna starter and the hummus! Both were delicious! For main entrees, I sampled the mahi tacos (my personal favorite) and the Strawberry/avocado/chicken Salad.
Overall- for a brand new restaurant that just opened- I give it 5 stars. I seriously can’t wait to go back to try breakfast!
Photo above shows the hummus and ahi starters on top and the mahi tacos and chicken salad on the bottom- all taken on my phone (great presentation!)
A New Orleans staple is OYSTERS! If you ever stay at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans, be sure to check out their on site Oyster bar and restaurant- Desire. Everything is delicious and they have a good Happy Hour! However, be sure to tell your server you’re ordering off the Happy Hour menu when you order!!
Living in Florida makes the Florida Keys an ideal quick getaway! Key West is awesome and comes with so much to do, in such a small area! You can have a completely relaxing island style getaway and read books all day on the beach OR you can enjoy tons of local bars and nightlife!
I got the chance to explore Savannah for a Bachelorette Party and it did not disappoint!
So many fun things to see, history to explore during the day, and delicious restaurants to choose from!
